But yes, as far as who she ended up with in the foster system, she is happy and feels something like lucky. That does not mean that she trusts the system or us enough to be stuck with us forever. Especially for a 15 year old who has been burned. A lot. If you wouldn't be willing to marry someone in less than a year, why should a child be willing to be adopted in the same time frame?
